Is my job too small?

No. At D Line Markings Ltd, no job is too small. We always aim to provide the best possible price while maintaining our high standards of workmanship.

What areas do you cover?

We primarily operate across Essex, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, and London, but we are also happy to travel outside these areas for larger projects or special requests.

What is the best way to get a price?

What types of materials do you use?

  • Hot Applied - Thermo Plastic
  • Cold Applied- Single Epoxy paint, Acrylic paint & MMA (Methyl Methacrylate)

What are the standard parking bay dimensions?

Legally, a parking bay should be 2.4m wide and 4.8m long. However, with larger vehicles becoming common, we recommend wider bays where space allows.

Are your vehicles ULEZ compliant?

Yes all of D Line Markings Ltd vehicles are Euro 6 compliant.

My staff carpark is busy Monday-Friday are you able to do weekends?

Yes D Line Markings Ltd will carry out the markings for your site at a time that causes the least amount of disruption to your business.

Can thermo be applied to a concrete surface?

Yes. However an additional primer is required to make sure it adheres thoroughly, so there is an additional cost. Marking to concrete MUST be done in dry, warmer weather.

How Environmentally friendly is thermo plastic road marking material?

Even though the name is Thermo plastic the product no longer contains any plastic in the material it has just kept the origianal name in the trade.

Are your staff qualified?

Yes our team hold qualifications in the following

  • CSCS Qualified
  • NVQ Level 2 
  • Emergency First Aid At Work
  • Fire Marshall

How long does thermoplastic last?

Depending on the surface on the site but on a new surface  you are looking at about 2 million wheels over on the lines this can be reduced depending on it also taking ware from steering heavy plant etc

Can you remove old lines?

Yes D Line Markings can remove old line by various methods.

  • Burning them off using either a Hot Shot Lane or a thermic lance.
  • Grinding using a scabbler machine 
  • Hydro-blast this is a great option for large quantaties of lining that needs to be removed using high pressure water.

Can you work nights?

D Line Markings are able to carry out markings at any time of the day that suits the needs of the site to make sure minimal disruption is made to the staff, clients & members of the public.

Can you supply traffic managment?

The D Line Markings lorry is equipped with basic chapter 8 equipment to carry out small works but we do have contacts with local TM companies for any works that may need more.
